End of term notice

Well done to the 25 juniors that came along to the Christmas Cracker Relays on Tuesday 17th December.  It was great to see our juniors enjoying themselves and showing such ability,  enthusiasm and good sportsmanship .

This was the last junior training session of this term.  Junior training will resume on Tuesday 7th January.

Training fees for 2020 will be due by 7th January as will annual membership subscriptions.  I will email parents about this after Christmas.

The 2020 Kendal Winter League commences on Sunday the 5th January at Scout Scar and we hope that, once again, lots of our juniors will take part.  More details can be found here

Junior Club Championship Presentations

Congratulations Settle Harriers Juniors!!  Awards for the 2019 Junior Club Championships were handed out at the Junior’s Presentation Evening on Tuesday 3rd December held after junior training in Eshtons Pavilion.

What a talented and enthusiastic bunch!  39 juniors took part in Championship races this year, and we celebrated their success after training.  All those that took part received sweets and chocolates.  Those that did 3 races or more also received a fantastic Settle Harriers beanie.  The top 6 boys and girls also received a beautiful engraved medal presented by club Chairman, Mark Wildsmith.  Many thanks to Alex and Kerry for providing these excellent prizes.

Many thanks to our coaching team and everyone involved with running our junior section over the last year.  Many thanks also to parents for supporting the club and finally many thanks to all the juniors for their dedication and fantastic attitude.

Well done to our 2019 champions, Lucy and Carl, and to everyone that took part in the championships in 2019.  The final scores can be viewed here Junior Championship Table 2019
