SESSIONS

Monday and Wednesday Training Runs

The current schedules of Monday social training runs and slightly longer/faster Wednesday runs are published here. Any last minute details about each run will be made on the club Facebook page. This is also used to sign up for each run. Although signing up in advance isn’t essential it’s helpful for the run leader to know how many are attending.

Please meet at the designated meeting point in time for a 7:00pm briefing prior to the run.

Please do not attend if you feel unwell and please adhere to social distancing rules while running.

Tuesday Speed Work

Owing to current lockdown restrictions, speed work sessions will be limited to 6 people including the coach and a booking system is in place via the Settle Harriers Facebook page.  These procedures will be kept under review and it may be possible to accommodate a second separate group of 6 in the future.

At present, we are not be allowed to use Giggleswick School’s grounds (due to COVID-19 restrictions) so we would have to decide on a different meeting point in Settle but there are plenty of options for  sessions on the Settle Hills, quarry area etc.

Please meet at the designated meeting point in time for a 7:00pm briefing prior to the run.

DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU FEEL AT ALL UNWELL

Runners must adhere to social distancing rules keeping at least 2m apart at all times.

The carrying and use of an alcohol based hand sanitiser is recommended.
