Important Notice regarding Coronavirus
With regret, we are going to have to cancel Settle Harriers junior training with effect from Tuesday 17th March.This is a result of the new government guidelines issued on the 16th which advise against “non essential contact with others” and “unnecessary travel”.The Fell Runners Association and England Athletics have also advised that club training nights, races and other club events should not be held for the time being.We will of course contact parents when it is considered “safe” to resume sessions again.Helm Hill have now announced that the remaining Kendal Winter League fixtures have been cancelled.The Kettlewell FRA Junior Championships fixture on Sat 28th March has also been cancelled.It’s probably safe to assume that unfortunately there will no more races until the government’s guidelines are eased.Keep safe and best wishes,Andy EvansJunior CoordinatorSettle Harriers
