Welcome to Settle Harriers’ Juniors

Settle Harriers’ aims to provide opportunities for young runners in the area to learn about and participate in training and racing in the disciplines of cross-country and fell running. The Club is located in the centre of the finest natural scenery and training country to be found anywhere. Regular training and racing events are organised all year round open to all junior club members.

We actively encourage juniors to take part in races in order get the best out of their running.

MEMBERSHIP

Settle Harriers’ junior training sessions for children in school year 3 through to year 13 take place every Tuesday during school term time. They are open to children who are Settle Harriers’ members and have enrolled and paid for the sessions in advance.

Annual Training fees are to be paid in early January. The fee is based on £1 per session (£35 for 2019). If your child joins the club during the year, the training fee will be reduced on a pro rata basis. This is in addition to the annual club membership subscription which is currently £10 for juniors. Alternatively family membership can be taken out for £25.
