Clear blue skies, 18 degrees, a gentle breeze, super race route with tremendous views of the Lakeland fells (if only we’d had time to pause) and post race pie, peas and a pint made for a cracking evening at last night’s race.

Eight harriers ran, with Sam Allsopp, Sam Brummitt and Kirsten Hardiman experiencing the delights of the climb up Blease Fell for the first time-the looks on their faces suggest they loved it!!

No official times yet, but the finishing order for the Champs points were:
