SESSIONS

Monday and Wednesday Training Runs

Owing to current lockdown restrictions, training runs will be limited to 6 people and a booking system is in place via the Settle Harriers Facebook page. An announcement about each run will be made on Facebook on the day before and the run will be available to the first 5 people to respond (the sixth place is taken by the run leader). These procedures will be kept under review and it may be possible to accommodate a second separate group of 6 in the future. Please bear with us while we take gentle steps towards reviving club training runs.

Please meet at the designated meeting point in time for a 7:00pm briefing prior to the run.

DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU FEEL AT ALL UNWELL

Runners must adhere to social distancing rules keeping at least 2m apart at all times.

Where possible, avoid running directly behind the runner in front and spread out. No spitting/nose clearing near anyone else or on the path – move away! The carrying and use of an alcohol based hand sanitiser is recommended.

Tuesday Speed Work

Owing to current lockdown restrictions, speed work sessions will be limited to 6 people including the coach and a booking system is in place via the Settle Harriers Facebook page.  These procedures will be kept under review and it may be possible to accommodate a second separate group of 6 in the future.

At present, we are not be allowed to use Giggleswick School’s grounds (due to COVID-19 restrictions) so we would have to decide on a different meeting point in Settle but there are plenty of options for  sessions on the Settle Hills, quarry area etc.

Please meet at the designated meeting point in time for a 7:00pm briefing prior to the run.
